Dr. Gary started his leadership training in the Boy Scouts, achieving the rank of Eagle. After graduating from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Upon graduation, he was commissioned in the United States Army reaching the rank of Captain and commanding a unit of over 120 soldiers at age 25. Dr. Gary completed his formal education at Nova Southeastern University with a Doctorate in Business Administration in 2009.
His business career spans over 30 years with Procter & Gamble, Scott Paper Company, Pilot Air Freight, IKON Technology Services and Novell. Gary started his business consulting career in the early 1990s when he traveled the country as an associate with the Covey Leadership Center and Blanchard Training and Development providing consulting and training services to small, medium and large companies.
